  3. Thank you for considering The Guardian.  We hope you find it useful.   As 
  4. you will see in the license, you are acquiring the right to use this product; 
  5. you do not own it.  Since this program is offered as a shareware program, you 
  6. need to register your copy of the  system in  order to  become a fully 
  7. supported, registered user. When you register your copy of The Guardian by 
  8. remitting the registration fee of $40, we will send you a registered copy of 
  9. the programs containing the latest updates, a printed copy of the complete 
  10. documentation, and add you to ourlist of registered users.   Add $4.00 for 
  11. shipping and handling ($6.00 outside the continental United States); Indiana 
  12. residents add 5% sales tax - $2.00.   You will then be entitled to telephone 
  13. support for any problems or questions that may arise.  We will also notify 
  14. you as new releases become available.  We welcome suggestions for additions 
  15. and improvements to all of our products. Correspondence and registration

  23. The VENDINFO.DIZ file contains a Packing List of the files in this directory.
  24. The file GUARDIAN.EXE is a self-extracting compressed file containing
  25. programs, documentation, and some miscellaneous files.
  26.  
  27. After you have installed The Guardian,  there will be a file called 
  28. LICENSE.DOC which contains the license agreement and a file called FORM.DOC 
  29. containing a form which may be used to register your copy of The Guardian.   
  30. Just print the file, fill out the registration form, and send it in with 
  31. your fee.
